On a hot day at the Inage Seaside Ground in Chiba, the Abiko Ducks have won the 2021 Chiba Championship Grand Final against the Legend Matsudo Devils United team.

In the first half, the Ducks started with high energy and a focus on set completions. The Ducks fast play was rewarded with 3 tries. Some defensive lapses late in the half allowed LMD to claw the score back to 3-3 by half time. The second half saw the Ducks work harder both sides of the ball, limiting the LMD team to 2 points while scoring 5 in attack themselves. In the end, the Ducks made sure the first Chiba Championship title was headed to the city of Abiko with an 8-5 win, and the club picking up their first silverware.
